ADVERTISING

This afternoon we were comparing the advertising in Spanish and reading adverts in English

  • The history begins every morning - a watch

  • La historia comienza cada mañana- un reloj

  • Infused with imagination- a parfum

  • Infundido de imaginación- un perfume

  • The essence of a jeweller- a parfum

  • La esencia de un joyero- un perfume

  • 2012 is coming. Enjoy every second- a watch

  • 2012 está en camino. Disfruta cada segundo- un reloj
This are some adverts
Estos son algunos de ellos

I noticed that there are many words talisman. All English slogans are watches and colognes.

People who speak English think alike than those who speak Spanish, so the advertisers use the same strategies.

I really liked this class because advertising has worked in two different languages. I think, sometimes, advertisers, especially in cologne and watches, put the English and French, to give a more luxurious look to your produtos.
